Why do I have to apply to volunteer?

Safety is our biggest priority for both pets and volunteers. Requiring an application ensures we are vetting everyone involved with the animals, the nonprofit operations and our community.

How much time am I required to commit as a volunteer?

We know everyone has busy lives and competing priorities. There is no required minimum time commitment, however we anticipate that all volunteers will participate in something quarterly to support our mission.

Are there specific roles you need support with?

Yes. We are always looking for volunteers to join our intake and coordination teams, and we frequently need support with marketing.
